Software Developer III

T-Mobile USA, the mobile communications subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, is a national provider of wireless voice, messaging, and data services capable of reaching over 268 million Americans.

Quikview is a web/desktop application developed for T-Mobile customer care and Retail stores with two different modes of login. This application helps retailers to view the customer account details and serve the customer needs. The retailer has to authenticate customer and then will be allowed to view customer details. By using this application, the retailer will be able to edit the price plans, Billing address and other customer related information on the fly. This application is out in 2000 stores till date and is expected to hit 10000 stores by the end of 2011.

 

Responsibilities:

·   Actively participated in the Design discussions.

·   Worked on implementing Cairngorm framework in the front-end Flex UUI.

·   Evaluated different front-end Adobe frameworks (Cairngorm Versus Swizz Versus Parsley Frameworks).

XML Data Modeler

The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) is a nonprofit organization in operation to evaluate and accredit diagnostic imaging facilities, thus improving the quality of patient care provided in private offices, clinics and hospitals where such medical tests are provided.

This project involves designing an XML schema for the completed application that has been submitted to the IAC for the review. The application undergoes a confidential peer-review by specially-trained reviewers.

Responsibilities:

Faculty Activity System is an effort to produce an electronic data system for recording and reporting required ETSU faculty activities. This project deals with handling the many kinds of activities faculty perform, including instruction;

supervision of theses and dissertations; academic advisement; scholarship, research, and creative activity; professional and public service; service; professional development; and academic administration. The variety of uses for this data, including annual faculty review, tenure and promotion, departmental and institutional accreditation, and cost studies;

·   Requirements writing and analysis of the Test Harness subsystem that supports the FAS architecture.
